As Managing Director of Arkoma, Francisco is responsible for leading teams involved in all facets of the investment cycle. This includes origination, initial reviews, structuring investment strategies and due diligence.
Francisco is a trilingual professional with over 5 years of experience in investments, operations and international business development. Prior to Arkoma, Francisco served as Managing Director of Aqua Resins Technologies and financial strategist at the Chicago Board of Trade. Through these positions, he gained significant experience in acquisitions, financial analysis and private equity financing. After a period at Southern Methodist University, Francisco received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from University of Illinois – Chicago and an MBA. He was also a member of the nationally ranked NCAA Division I soccer teams.
As Project Facilitator of Arkoma, Jean brings over 18 years of invaluable experience to the group of companies. Her main responsibilities include North Dakota production acquisitions, revenue audits, and liquidation facilitation. Jean has over 40 years of experience in finance, through banking and real estate. Prior to joining Arkoma, Jean regulated commercial real estate acquisition developments from the lending side of the banking industry.
Michael is a geologist with over 30 years of experience in research and technical evaluation. He has been with Arkoma since 1983 and continues to be an outstanding asset to the portfolio companies. He is responsible for the initial evaluation of oil and gas assets targeted for acquisition. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology from The University of Texas at Dallas, followed by graduate and post-graduate studies in the fields of Mexico.
Malaga has been efficiently handling account management and financial reporting for Arkoma since 2007. She is directly responsible for overseeing all accounting functions for Arkoma's entities and reporting directly to the President.
Trey has worked at Arkoma for almost 4 years and has been in the Oil and Gas Industry for over 7 years. He works in Arkoma's land department and performs many duties including: mineral and lease acquisitions, title due diligence, and assists in the management of Arkoma's assets. He has a Bachelors of Business Administration from Texas A&M - Corpus Christi and is a member of the AAPL.
Kay-Lee has worked at Arkoma for over 15 years, and has spent the last few years in Arkoma's land department where she deals with everything related to mineral acquisitions and leases for Arkoma. She earned an associates degree in Culinary Arts at Le Cardon Bleu in Dallas and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern Methodist University, and is a member of the AAPL.
Jason worked as a contractor for Arkoma over the years, but at the beginning of 2017, transitioned into more of a permanent role as the Business Development Manager. He is responsible for identifying, negotiating and securing a variety of investment and business opportunities.
Jason brings over 8 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry. After studying Economics at Baylor University, he earned a Bachelor's Degree from A&M University - Commerce in Agricultural Economics. Prior to joining the Arkoma team, he worked as a Business Development/Project Manager at Jericho Partners, a land service compant that conducted business throughout the Marcellus and Utica formations.
Andrea is a trilingual professional with a major in Architecture from the Western Institute of Higher Studies ITESO, in Guadalajara, Mexico, laureate in 2015. She began her career while still in school working for several internationally recognized architecture studios. Soon after she accomplished her degree, Andrea traveled the U.S. to become part of Arkoma's full time staff. She is currently responsible for land and surface research as drafting director, as well as project manager for the company's biggest client. Andrea presents optimal results on the various projects she is involved in.
Tony has been developing highly technical maps, monitoring activity and updating internal databases for Arkoma since 1985. At Arkoma, science dictates where opportunity exists. Tony’s responsibilities include accurately representing geologic and engineering data to guide the land team towards a potential acquisition.
A Southern Methodist University graduate in Advertising, Heather joined the team to focus on market research and data management. Her collaborative nature has resulted in participating in a number of areas such as mapping, mineral ownership research and fundamental analysis organization. Her main responsibilities include supporting the land team across multiple onshore plays. Heather also works on marketing data configurations and helps research major oil and gas plays across the US.
Niki is the newest addition the Arkoma team. Niki graduated from Oklahoma State University in May 2017, earning a Bachelors degree in Health Promotions while playing Division I soccer. Niki serves as the Director of Social Media Marketing. She also assists the land team in data research and management.
Gabrielle is extremely versatile and is able to quickly address prioritized tasks assigned by the staff. Her responsibilities include welcoming clients to our office, answering phones, filing, research, time sensitive projects, presentation binders, technology issues, as well as, a vast array of other tasks and functions. Over 10 years ago, Gabrielle joined the team as a receptionist, her managerial and communication skills allowed her to become a skilled office manager and proactive mineral buyer.
